01 : Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi and meet the INDIAN SUMMERS representative
at the arrival hall and transfer to Hotel.

02 : In Delhi
 Morning
proceed for the sightseeing tour of New & Old
Delhi. Visit the 12th Century Qutab
Minar; gracefully fluted and hand carved
for its entire height of 234 feet. Near it stands
the Iron Pillar, which has withstood the ravages
of time and hasn’t rusted in 1500 years. Also,
visit the graceful mausoleum of the Mughal Emperor
Humayun and the modern Birla Temple. Drive past
the President's House,
the Parliament House
and the Secretariat
buildings. The Red Fort, which was built in 1648
by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and the Jama
Masjid, which is one of the largest mosques
in India are other places of interest. The Raj
Ghat and Shanti Van
are the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal
Nehru respectively and make for a peaceful retreat.

03 : Delhi - Mandawa - 220 Kms - 05 hrs drive

town known for it ancient havelis or traditional
houses which has beautiful paintings inside and

05 : Bikaner - Jaisalmer - 355 Kms - 07 hrs drive

06 : In Jaisalmer
 After
the sumptuous morning breakfast enjoy the city tour
of Jaisalmer. The city is founded by Rawal Jaisal
in 1156. It was once the capital of Bhari Rajputs,
the walled city of Jaisalmer harbours narrow, cobblestone
alleys where mansions can be seen with their intricate
lattice work and stone carvings. About a quarter
of the old city’s population resides within
the walls of the Jaisalmer Fort, which has 99 bastions
around its circumference. A fascinating place to
wander around during the day. And in the evening,
you will have a special viewing of Jaisalmer’s
famed sand dunes from the back of the camel.

07 : Jaisalmer - Jodhpur - 300 Kms - 06 hrs drive

After breakfast, drive to Jodhpur, Rajasthan’s
second largest city stands at the edge of the Thar
desert. Home of India’s most spectacular fortress
palace, the Mehrangarh Fort,
Jodhpur was founded in 1459 AD by Rao Jodha, a chief
of Rajput clan of Rathore rulers. In the Mehrangarh
Fort, you will see battle-scarred walls, courtyards
and palaces, and get an incredible view of modern
city of Jodhpur. While in the city, you will also
visit Jaswant Thada,
an imposing white marble cenotaph built to commemorate
acts of bravery and generosity of the rulers in
the 19th century. A trip to Jodhpur is not complete
without a visit to the magnificent Umaid
Bhavan Palace. Another must-do is a foray
into the colourful local markets to experience the
bustle of everyday life in Jodhpur.

08 : Jodhpur - Udaipur - 260 Kms - 06 hrs drive

After breakfast, drive to Udaipur, en-route visiting
the famed Ranakpur Jain Temple,
one of the biggest and the most important pilgrimage
sites for the Jain community in India, and an extremely
beautiful complex for travellers to visit.

09 : In Udaipur

After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of the Lake
City of Udaipur, a wonderful oasis nestling in the
dry heart of Rajasthan. It is probably the most
romantic city in a state where every city has some
romantic or exotic tale to tell. The huge City Palace
of Udaipur, towering over the Lake
Pichola is the largest palace complex in
Rajasthan. You will also visit the Jagdish
temple, a fine example of Indo-Aryan art
that continues to be frequented by believers until
this day. Sahelion Ki Bari,
the exclusive garden of the royal ladies who once
lived in the palaces. The perfect end to your tour
is a boat ride on the serene and beautiful Lake
Pichola with the sun setting behind the hills.

10 : Udaipur - Jaipur - by flight - 60 min
Flight to Jaipur the capital of Rajasthan. Jaipur
is the last stop in Rajasthan.

11 : In Jaipur

Morning after breakfast you will leave for the sightseeing
of Jaipur, which is also known as Pink City. Pink
City is known all over the world for its amazing
architecture and planning. Enjoy a visit to imposing
Amber Fort including
an Elephant ride in the Maharaja style. Also visit
the city Palace, which
is the current residence of the Jaipur royal family.
Also included in the sightseeing are the Observatory
and the Palace of the winds.

12 : Jaipur - Agra - 235 Kms - 05 hrs drive

After breakfast leave for Agra by the surface transport,
en-route visit the deserted capital of Fatehpur
Sikri, where you will wonder why this well
preserved capital was dramatically abandoned a few
years after it was built and moved to Agra. In Agra
you will see one of the most beautiful monuments
of the world, you will come face to face with India’s
most perfect architectural creation know as the
monument of eternal love. “The
Taj Mahal”. Proceed from here to the
impressive Agra Fort and get led through the multitude
of chambers in this regal residence.
