DAY 01 : Arrive Trivandrum - Kovalam
Arrive Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram) airport and meet the INDIAN SUMMERS representative at the arrival hall and transfer to Hotel in Kovalam. Kovalam is famous for its beach resorts. Afternoon guided tour of the Trivandrum city. The tour includes visit to Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Palace Museum, Napier Museum, Art Gallery and Handicrafts institute.

DAY 02 : Kovalam - Alleppey - Kumarkom - 175 Kms - 4 hrs
Morning drive to Alleppey. On arrival at Alleppey transfer on to motorboat for beautiful cruise through the scenic Backwaters towards Kumarakom.

DAY 03 : Kumarakom – Periyar – 130 Kms – 5 hrs
Morning after breakfast to Periyar. Periyar is beautiful hill station famous it spices plantations and wild life sanctuary. On arrival you will check in at your hotel. Afternoon guided tour of the Periyar lake on the will be organised. Around the lake you can see wild animals in their natural habitat.

DAY 04 : In Periyar
After breakfast, boat ride on the Periyar. Afternoon visit to Spice plantations and spice market.

DAY 05 : Periyar – Munnar – 100 Kms – 2 hrs
Morning after breakfast drive to Munnar, it is the hill station which is famous for its tea plantation. On arrival you will check in at your hotel. Day at leisure to explore the tea city on your own.

DAY 06 : In Munnar
After breakfast visit to tea plantations. Afternoon visit to Mattuppetty.

DAY 07 : Munnar – Cochin – 140 Kms – 4 hrs
After buffet breakfast at the hotel, you would be taken for the guided tour of Cochin. The tour starts with Mattancherry, where you will visit the oldest Jewish Synagogue in India, built in 1568; it was destroyed by the Portuguese and rebuilt by the Dutch a century later.
From Jewish Synagogue you will visit Chinese fishing nets. The cantilevered fishing nets line the entrance to the harbour mouth. From the Chinese fishing nets you will visit St. Francis Church, originally named after Santo Antonio and dedicated to him as the Patron Saint of Portugal, St. Francis Church is the first church to have been in the new European influenced tradition. From the Francis Church you will visit The Dutch Palace at Mattancherry, which was built in 1555 and its coronation hall and murals at Ramayana are noteworthy features.
(The Dutch Palace is closed on Fridays and the Synagogue is closed on Fridays & Saturdays.)
Evening visit to local theatre to watch beautiful Kathakali dance performance. Kathakali represents a synthesis of all that is best in dance, drama and music.

DAY 08 : Onward destination / Airport transfer
Morning breakfast at hotel and then transfer to airport for flight to onward destination.
